Bryce Barnes has been on a snowboard since the age of five and hasn’t taken a winter off since. He has built a career working throughout the ski industry—from instructing to snowmaking and park crew—at resorts including Sunday River and Alyeska, often working nights to prioritize daytime backcountry touring and ice climbing. Now based in the Chugach Mountains, Bryce continues to pursue his goal of becoming a snowboard guide, dedicating himself to year‑round progression in backcountry riding, ice climbing, and mountain skills.
