While Janet and Freddie Wilkinson's first love may be climbing, they understand the importance of blending their passion for winter sports with their love for their home, food and community. Celebrating winter with friends over a home cooked meal is one of the many ways that they find winter together.
For more than 5 years the Wilkinsons lived in a 12 x 12 cabin they built in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The “Shabin” has electricity but no running water and served as their home base while encouraging them to play outside doing what they love. While living in 144 square feet of space for two adults and a dog named Tagger may not seem like much, it had everything they needed.
